Compassion sponsor trips allow you to literally step into your child’s world. On a sponsor trip you will explore your child’s home country — eat the food she eats, play the games he/she plays. And to top it all off, you will get to give your sponsored child a hug and deliver that next letter in person!

What's included in the trip price?
Sponsor trip costs include travel and in-country costs. For instance:
- One sponsor participant is included in the trip cost; this includes all participant-associated expenses for fun day (venue admission, accommodations, travel, meals, accompanying staff and translators during the trip, entrance fees, and administrative costs).
- Additional participant visits can be requested for an additional fee, with a maximum of 5 participants. However, we recommend no more than 3 participants per trip for the best experience.
- All sponsored participants must be attached to your personal Compassion account. We are not able to accommodate you meeting someone else’s sponsored participant. In Bolivia, the average cost of bringing additional participants is $300 per participant depending on location of the participant and transportation needs.
- Lodging fees are calculated based on double occupancy. If you would like your own room there is an additional single occupancy add-on fee.
